Before production;
Every oval begins as paper.
The prototype is cut, taped and measured by hand before a single metre of patent is committed. Below: the paper mock-up of the 2 CYL silhouette — front pattern with the NB crest traced, and the profile that sets the gusset depth.

Nikole Bilal is an independent fashion house based in Chicago, founded by Ayanna Tahirah. Every object begins as a drawing on paper, is cut by hand, and is finished in small runs. No seasons, no noise — only chapters.
